ESTABLISHED IN 1889

Re-opening later this year, the Doutta Galla is getting a full refresh – new look, same soul.

First opened in 1889 by local legend Thomas Miller, The Doot was never just bricks and mortar. It was built for knock-off beers, family feeds, footy debates, and bar banter that turns into folklore.

She’s worn a few names over the years, but The Doot stuck—just like the locals who’ve been calling it home for generations. And when the doors swing open again, whether it’s race day or a regular Tuesday, chances are your mate’s already there, pint in hand, holding court upstairs.

No pretence. No palaver. Just The Doot, back where it belongs.

Opening soon.
